Commitment, Dedication, Learning, Dreams and Aspirations

Dr. Cora Stover is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of naturopathic medicine. She started her journey into the art and science of medicine as a young girl when she marched around the kitchen table during family gatherings, providing massage. Many years later, she advanced her studies of massage at Arizona School of Massage Therapy. Dr. Stover began her herbal education as she worked as a professional gardener learning how to grow, tend and help plants thrive; as well as, a barista blending teas for ailments. If, you want to hear a funny story ask her about the first plant she interacted with.

Dr. Stover attended Salem State University where she paved the way for other students to obtain a degree in biology and chemistry entitled, "Biomedical Sciences". While attending school Dr. Stover continued her self education in herbs and plants, as well as working as a massage therapist.

At the University of Bridgeport, Dr. Stover completed her studies as a Naturopathic Doctor with extra clinical rotations in Women's Health, Pediatrics, Cancer, Gastroenterology, Generative Medicine, Mental Health & Hygiene, Homeopathy, and Physical Medicines. Her thesis was based on how our microenvironments, byproducts along with the microbials living within and around us effect our overall health.

As a general practitioner of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Stover enjoys seeing and helping people with a variety of conditions. Dr. Stover believes medicine needs to be accessible to all those who need and want it. Dr. Stover is board certified and licensed in the states of Maryland and Connecticut.

"I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power and many modalities within the healing arts. As a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and the “alternatives,” while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal, as well as help my patients discover why they feel the way they do."
